My Dog, My Baby

The Washington Post has an interesting piece on a brain imaging study showing how women’s brains respond to photos?of their small children and their dogs. In short, as the story headline says: “You really do love your dog like it’s a baby.” The article is here.

    Yep, science is finally catching up with what we have intuitively known all along. NOW proof. I would hazard to guess these phenomena exist in the attachment between humans and their horses, cats, and whatever pet you fancy.
