Keep Your Chin Up

Stella with chin on step

This was blind Stella?a few days ago, having found a novel use for the stairs. She was sound asleep, and didn’t wake up as we walked around her, and as I took these photos. We’ve had dogs who use the steps for sleeping, but … you know, they’re laying down on the steps. This was the first time we’ve seen this particular?approach. Keep your chin up and keep on sleeping!

Must be comfortable! Maybe she’ll start a trend, and they’ll all start doing this.

One of my dogs and one of my cats ‘piggy back’ on the step quite often. but I’ve never seen them do this!! Sweet Stepper Stella.

Clever Stella! The step must be just right for her chin.

I have two dogs who each sleep in a chair with high arms and they will rest their head on the arm of the chair in pretty much the same position as Stella. Don’t know why they do it either – must be comfortable.

A comfy place to rest her head and a load of smells for nose, what could be better?
