After eight long weeks of recovery from?knee surgery, and becoming a model house guest, our livestock guardian dog Aaron is?finally back on duty with his goats. Aaron got the all-clear from our veterinary surgeon late last week, following a physical exam and X-rays to ensure the bone had healed up correctly.
Maggie, who had risen to the occasion as the lone guardian dog during his absence, was thrilled (and relieved!) to have her big buddy back again! Here she is with him earlier that same day:

All the Maremmas look so regal. Very happy that Aaron has recovered and is back doing his thing and I’m sure Maggie will be happy to get a little more rest 🙂
